Preamble

We, the passionate enthusiasts of antiquity and dedicated students of life-affirming natural sciences, hereby establish the International Society of Tower and Castle Owners. Our mission is to foster a broad exchange of experiences, trade in raw materials, conduct educational seminars for urban residents who have yet to build, conquer, or purchase their own fortress, and promote sustainable farming practices within our fortifications.

Article I: Purpose

The Society aims to:

  1. Promote the appreciation of historical architecture and the values of feudalism in a modern context.
  2. Facilitate knowledge sharing among members regarding the construction, maintenance, and significance of towers and castles.
  3. Provide educational resources and seminars for those interested in the art of fortification and sustainable farming activities.
  4. Encourage the integration of farming practices within castle grounds, utilizing space for livestock, water storage, food production, and tool maintenance.

Article II: Membership Requirements

To be considered a member of our esteemed Society and have your tower recognized as a fortress, applicants must adhere to the following criteria established by the Commission of Secret Stone Masons:

  1. Wall Thickness at the Base: The structure must exhibit adequate wall thickness to ensure stability and protection.
  2. Foundation Quality: A strong and well-constructed foundation is imperative to support the structure's integrity.
  3. Height Specifications: The fortress must meet specific height requirements that reflect its stature and prominence.
  4. Mortar Composition: The mortar used in construction must comply with the standards set by our order to ensure longevity and resilience.
  5. Farming Provisions: The castle must have designated spaces for farming activities, including areas for livestock, water reservoirs, food storage, and tool maintenance.

Article III: Recognition and Registration

Upon fulfilling all the above criteria, members will be officially recorded in the Society's registry of fortresses and will receive recognition on our website. This distinction affirms the commitment to our values and the quality of their structures.

Conclusion

Through this charter, we invite all who share our passion for history, natural sciences, and sustainable farming practices to join us in the noble pursuit of preserving and celebrating the legacy of fortifications in our modern world. Together, we will build a community rooted in knowledge, craftsmanship, and admiration for the enduring value of towers and castles, while embracing the importance of self-sufficiency and environmental stewardship.
